Hi.
About 6 months ago an adware infected my Chrome web browser. Unfortunately nothing is able to detect it.
What I tried:
1. Run full system scan with Avast
2. Run a system scan from Chrome to discover unwanted applications
3. Did run 3rd party malware scanners.
4. Uninstall and Reinstall Chrome.
5. Disabled all Chrome extensions
Noting helps. At first it did not really bothered me, it did show me an ad once every day basically but now it did become way too aggressive. The moment I open Chrome, it is display 10 ads and when I close the ad, it is keep coming back and show more. After close them all, it is leave me alone for about an hour and then show me a bunch of ads again every hour now. It did become very annoying and now it is not just ads but also fake virus alerts and scam.
The only thing I did not try yet is running a scan at System startup because could not find the time. I need the computer every day and the scan takes almost a whole day that I could not find the time to do yet.
I would appreciate any advice how to get rid of it.
I am running the latest Avast Premium Security on Windows 10 Home 64bit and the latest version of the Chrome web browser.
