OK, I am unable to install Avast but let me go back to the beginning...
This little laptop has been sitting in the dust for nearly 2 years after it started getting bogged down, Vyper stopped working after a time and the laptop has been overheating to the point of risking the battery integrity, that's the reason it was retired and shelved for so long.
The replacement PC had it's battery integrity breached and it just decided to BSOD whenever I tried to diagnose the issue, so it's now on the bench having it's battery replaced because the manufacturer hs made it in a way that batteries are required.
Skip to tonight, I pulled this out and thought I could use it, but it's been throwing error codes COM Surrogate, OK... I try to update the Intel Drivers, doesn't work, I then try a complete reinstall of the OS, the reinstall fails...I try installing antivirus, system says no.
