Up to date beta is 4.7.932. After testmonies of all being ok, please let me ask:

1) What 9xx number do you, Igor or Vlk, expect to be the new Official version?
2) What are your plans for 4.8 version?

Thanks.

Well, I couldn't resist installing the beta.

There were three required reboots but it's working.

I'll play with it tomorrow.

Thanks.

No particular number is set to be the final release - but it should be out quite soon, so I'd say something < 940.
Right now, there are no plans for 4.8... I mean, maybe there will be no 4.8 and we'll jump directly to 5.0; hard to say right now.

Why don't you try to run the beta again, finish the installation, boot.
If that does not work, maybe just deleting the servers.def file, kill any avast#.setup process running and start the update. You'll be 'downgraded' to the non-beta version (I hope so).

If not... better will be uninstalling, booting, installing again...

Maybe the servers are a little too busy right now - as the new update is being uploaded.

It's the official update, i.e. not beta anymore.

When i want to set password via trey icon i get this each and every time. Used to work fine before. Donno how i missed this one during beta testing. Guess i wasn't paying much attention to it during that period...

Why this happens and how to fix it (only via program update?)?
