Skin announcement No.2
« on: February 02, 2004, 06:46:52 PM »
I don't like to do this, but since there is no skin related forum on this site, it is the only way, for now... I hope we'll see one of that kind soon, 'cause this whole skin-mania keeps growing...

OK.

You can check avast! skin download section if you click  HERE

There are two new skins. One was made by M.Novak and it's called "Blue Panel 4.0", and another one was made by me and it's called "O-Sti-X" (Another OSX style based skin for our best antivirus ever).

Cheers !

Really nice skin. The G4 Flat Panel Display adds a nice touch!

...Star Trek TNG LCARS skin...

The problem is, I'm really not some Star Trek addict, even I like some episodes very much... I just don't know exactly how that TNG LCARS style looks like. Would someone be so kind and try to explain it to me ? Some examples, pictures, whatever... would be greatly appreciated.

I would tell ya, but then it could loose all spell...  ;D It's better if I surprise you guys, right ? Anyway, all those ideas are just ideas at the end. I'm not sure if I'm going to accomplish all of them... maybe some of them, but not all, that's for sure.

Sasha, this is a pretty cool website that will give you a good idea of what the LCARS terminal looks like: http://www.lcarscom.net

Oh, nice, nice... do I have to use same colors or can I improvise ? But, I have to warn you, that skin could look so simple, 'cause it looks very plain to me... no 3D, nothing... probably, this is the way you guys want to see it, ha ?  ;D

OK, I have to catch some spare time, and we'll see... can't promise anything soon, but...  ;)

Cheers !
