New SBS setup problem
« on: January 02, 2007, 09:51:03 PM »
Hello,

I just setup avast 4.7 server edition on my SBS 2003 standard server and the services are not running!

I have a disabled icon in the system tray and I get the message below when i try and start the "avast! Antivirus" service.

Could not start the avast! Antivirus service on Local Computer
Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion.

Also I can't start either the mail or web services also.

Any help greatly appreciated.

John

Did you uninstall (maybe a previous version of) avast prior to installing this version?
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving's not for you.
