Hello and Welcome :)

It seems that your virus database is outdated - please run online update, - right click on the blue "a" icon in your system tray and then select update -> iAVS update  ;)
The latest VPS file is 0701-1 ;)

The current VPS is 0701-1, so windows security center is correct your VPS is well out of date 4 months or more.

Where did you download this version of avast ?
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.2.6105 (build 24.2.8918.824) UI 1.0.799/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

When I try to Register my Avast home Edition 4.7  it comes an error message (in Portuguese) which I translated to English as follows:

“There is no application associated with the extension of this file”

At the top on the left side of the window dialog error message it is written

“ashUInt”

Can anybody help me to register the program?

Many thanks,
Antonio

Antonio, I have never saw this error message...
Did you receive the email with the registration key? (https://secure.avast.com/scripts/register.php?lang=ENG)
Are you trying to add the key into avast program?
See the tutorial:  http://www.avast.com/files/tutorials/insert_key.htm
Please take a look here: http://www.avast.com/eng/faq-invalid-license-number.html

What is the error message?
Is your system date/time correct?
Do you use copy & paste method?
Are you sure you do not include the 'last blank space' in the paragraph while copying & pasting?
Which avast version are you trying to register (Home or Professional)?
