Make Avast Home run in System Tray
« on: January 06, 2007, 04:59:59 PM »
My Avast Home used to run in my System Tray. It was booted out and now I cannot get it to run in the System Tray.  I have ticked the "Show icon in tray" box but it still does not run in the System Tray. Can anyone help?

Maybe you can tell us what booted it in the first place?
The more information you provied, the easier it is to help.  :)
What's your operating system ? What other security programs do you use?
Are you using a Firewall? Which one?   etc etc

If you run (execute) C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashDisp.exe, will the icon appear?
Does the icon has a red cross on it or just the 'a' blue icon?
