Wondering if there is a solution to this.
So, I have a screensaver virus on all of my files on one of my external hard drives, meaning there has been a .scr extension added to all files. To fix this, I ran an Avast scan on the whole drive, which then added all 35GB worth of files on the drive to the Avast virus chest. Now whenever I open the virus chest to look at the files it is extremely slow to the point it is unusable as there are so many files in there now. Therefore, I'm unable to retrieve the files and mark them as safe.
Would anyone know if there is anything that can be done to resolve this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
