Typically, I let avast do its thing and don't mind it but today I decided to take a look. It said it needed to restart but when I pressed the restart option on avast, nothing happened. So I decided to restart my computer normally. Once restarted, I tried to launch avast but somehow avast uninstalled itself because the desktop shortcut couldn't find the program. I reinstalled avast and when trying to launch it, it couldn't load the UI so I restarted my computer again. Avast finally starts working again and I decided to run a full scan which instantly gave me a scan finished noticed which was odd. I ran a full scan again and it actually starts scanning. Just an overall weird experience I've had with it today. Not sure if it means anything. Has anyone had a similar experience recently?
Edit: Also, I just now noticed that there's an invisible program on my taskbar which I believe is the avast secure browser setup since it is listed under "which icons appear on the taskbar" when looking at taskbar settings.
