Having problems rebooting and googling shows that the problem may be a boot virus. Since all these help sites, including Micrsoft suggest checking for viruses. I could not help to ask the question , Yes but how does one do this since one can not boot into the program? Seems useless advice to me to say check for viruses if one has a boot virus and can not log in.
So, in my case all I can access is the Recovery console and from there I noticed I could access the individual folders including where AVast resides.
So Can I run it from there? and how do I do so?
thank you
