What next after files are in Chest?
« on: February 01, 2007, 01:20:45 PM »
Hi,

Avast scanner (great by the way) did alert me of viruses and them recommended me to move them to the chest.

So do I just delete them after saw two weeks? I think they are safe in the chest but I am not sure about it.

Thanks,
Karl

There is no rush to delete anything from the chest, a protected area where it can do no harm. Anything that you send to the chest you should leave there for a few weeks.

If after that time you have suffered no adverse effects from moving these to the chest, scan them again (inside the chest) and if they are still detected as viruses, delete them. However, you can keep them longer if you wish.
