Do I Need A Subscription To Use Sync in Secure Browser

Hi! I have a legacy account with Avast. I don't have any active subscriptions at this time. I can log in on Avast Secure Browser on my PC with my account credentials and activate the sync function but when I try to log in to the Android app with the same credentials it says they are invalid. Checked everything: spelling etc. and still not working. Do I need an active subscription to use the sync feature?
