Anti-Theft does not recognize set password
« on: April 28, 2021, 02:34:37 PM »
I am trying to set up Anti-Theft.  I've gone through the setup and set my Pin Code, Permissions Granted, and Pattern Set, but I cannot Connect to my Avast Account.

I log in using the email option, which is how I log in on my mobile phone and on my desktop.  I've changed the password on my desktop 3 times trying to sync with the mobile app for the Anti-Theft feature and each time, it does not recognize the password.  This is odd b/c I use the newly set password to log into my account both on mobile and desktop.  Why is the Anti-Theft not recognizing the same password?!?

Ik heb ook hetzelfde probleem en waarschijnlijk nog meerdere users. Waarom kan het antwoord dan niet via deze forum ipv privé bericht ?

Here's the English translation thanks to Google translate.
"I also have the same problem and probably more users. Why can't the answer go through this forum instead of a private message?"
Posting it somewhere else really wouldn't help. or get help.

I'm having a the same issue. Given the app all permission but unable to sign in with either my email or Google account. Getting the error "login failed"
