Intel Mac Pro
« on: February 09, 2007, 10:24:25 PM »
I deployed a task to install on the new Mac Pro on the XP side and it installed just fine.  However, it will not come up, instead I just get the blue ball with the red line through it.  I tried uninstalling and re-installing it, but that did not work either.   Any thoughts?

There was one thing that I forgot to state before and that is when I tried starting avast it came up with the following error:

1069 - Service did not start due to logon failure

Obviously, this means that the username or password set on the Log On page of the service's properties is incorrect. Did you set it manually?

I suggest using the LocalSystem account for the service, this way, you don't have to worry about possible password changes etc.

Thanks

Could you please explain to me where this property is located and what do I need to do to correct it.  See,  just the other day I did start changing my administrator password on the network.  I did not think that it would effect Avast as long as my local PC and network administrator logins were the same.  I also changed the password to match for the ADNM just in case.

If at all possible I do not want to have Avast running disconnected from the server if I do not have to.

Thanks.

Right click the service, and select Properties. Then go to the Log On tab.

Thanks
