@tednelly : Haha !  ;D

@drhayden1: I am a gamer myself unfortunately my pc is sloooooooow as hell for what i need it to do. And that is to play my favorite game Call of Duty II at my monitors native resolution (1280x1024) on high quality with antialiasing.  ;D My video card is a Geforce 7600GS Oced at 520/450(gpu:mem) and i get horrible performance at those resolutions. I get around 10400 points in 3dmark03 and i bet that setup you have will do up to 30k more.  :o

1) Well we try to keep everything here computer or OS related so that it is not that far off topic.

2) In the off-topic section we talked about whatever entered our minds.

1) The definition has gotten pretty loose lately, with all the "news" articles that some are posting. Just looking at the number of responses they get from members, should give you a belly button check as to whether they're of much interest to why people come here.

2) Boy, and then some!  ;)

Vista does look great and all ... But if I'm to get it at all, even if for the looks, why don't I just buy a copy of Ultimate and install it ?? I get the new feautes and boosted security, and etc. etc.

The only thing I want looking anything like Vista is the Royale Noir theme from http://www.istartedsomething.com/20061029/royale-noir/#more-935. The great looking black shade that's been digitally signed my Microsoft already (no patches/hacks needed :) !!). Tried it on my cousins computer and works like a charm !!

Ahh ... If only I can get upgrades for the hardware and software of my computer, then there are happier, more enjoyable days ... If only I can get a second, companion PC, either a laptop or desktop, that has Vista preinstalled ... Only then will I get a third, not high end, but modern, laptop to run a Linux Distribution ... Happy days ... If only I had the money ... Ahh well ....
