Anyway to set the screen saver to only scan once per day?

I would like the screen saver only to scan once a day.  It should continue to come on until it is finished but after that, do not try again until the next day.  It is not set for looping.  Is this possible?  Thanks.

Yes. Just uncheck the loop scanning option I think...

I think looping means when it finishes the scan, it will start from the beginning again immediately.  It is not doing that now.   When it finishes the scan, it stops while the screen saver is still on.  When the screen saver turns off and then it goes back on again, the scan starts again.  This is where I don't want it to start until the next day.

It may be that it hasn't completed the scan during that initial period of screen-saver activity, I don't use the screen-saver scan function, so I don't know if you can set the sensitivity and archives as in a normal on-demand scan. If you can and set it to thorough with archives it could take some time if it only happens during screen-saver activity.

I'm not sure this is possible...
Maybe someone from programming should help us here.
I don't think this is configurable through avast4.ini file (Settings link in my signature).
