Can't register
« on: February 10, 2004, 10:52:19 PM »
I am having problems getting into the  www.avast.com site. When I do get in I have tried several times to register but nothing happens. Can't get the links to work on the site. Please can you tell me what maybe the problem is. How do I retrieve my old registration number..Help,Help.. Please can you email me your reply because I have some problems getting into the site at times. It's the links that don't work. sears9909@rogers.com
PS
Can you give me their email address.

If I can't register then I might just as well uninstall Avast! and try another anti virus that will work properly.

There is no attempt to register with the email address given above today. Many thousands were able to do this today though. Please try it again and if there is no success, contact support at avast.com via email.

Thanks
Pavel

Hi sears,

I'm looking in our maillog for messages to sears9909:

Feb 9, 19:19:36
Feb 9, 19:21:57
Feb 10, 18:15:01
Feb 10, 18:16:53
Feb 11, 13:24:00 (this should be from mourek)

You also got at least on mail from this forum. The times are in CET timezone.

All these mails are marked as 'accepted for delivery'. To me it seems like problems on your side (either you or your ISP).

Let us know.

Thank you to all that have taken the time to try and help me...
I called my ISP provider and they finally helped me out so now I can register with Avast.
The problem was in Internet Options>Connections>Lan Settings>And there I unchecked the Automatically Detect settings. Now everything works fine.
