HI all,
i have troublewith settingof the automatic update .If I set the avast for automatic update, the avast not read proxy server from IE7 .... Andsecond questation , if I run update , the update is open in the service mode . Not open window with connecting information ....

You need to set the proxy you use in the Program Settings, Update (Connections), Proxy, see image.

We will need more information to be able to help you:
- Which OS are you using? Is it up to date?
- What avast! version and VPS file (virus database) number?
- Do you use a firewall? Which one?
- Do you use a proxy application (like annonimizers)?
