VPN nags on bootup
« on: May 17, 2021, 06:46:02 PM »
I have chosen to not renew my Avast secureline VPN for reasons not really important today. Since I hit that unsubscribe button I keep getting subscription-ending nags when I boot up my computer! Is there a way to stop these nags? I'm sure I could remove the VPN program, but still have almost a month left! Anybody????

Reported to Avast. Let's see if that helps.

I would like to add something to this thread. Yesterday I was in the middle of a VERY important video appt with my Neurologist! About 10 minutes into this appt I got an Avast VPN is expiring nag popup. This popup actually under popped inside the webpage and I could not close it. I also could not see the Doc as he was trying to show me some information. I finally had to close the webpage and was unable to get back into the virtual meeting. I am an epileptic and these appts are CRITICAL to my health! I hope someone from Avast's I.T dept will see this message and fix these nags. For the record, I liked the Avast VPN, but the price is simply not something I can afford!
