Thanks David

This is all I need at midnight here ;D

Sorry, but what exactly do you mean by 'Take a screenshot of it and post that'?

Thanks for the site but it says download for free, is it free because $14.95 is showing for Rogue Remover Pro. There are 4 locations for downloading too, which one is preferable?

Is it really necessary to download this software?

Thanks for your patience  !!!

When the pop-up alert occurs it should be active so you could press the Alt+Print Screen keys together that copies the image into the clipboard. If you have an image editor (or MS Paint) past it into the program and save the image as a .jpg or .gif image file. This can be uploaded to the forum and attached to a post. See http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=8982.0, freeware WinSnap screen capture - http://www.ntwind.com/software/winsnap.html.

The RogueRemover Pro is different and is a paid for option, on that page it shows 'Try the RogueRemover Pro free' and give a link to a different page. The other links on the page link I gave you are fro the freeware version. It doesn't really matter what download link you use, it is just spreading the load. I have used MajorGeeks before for other downloads and given a choice I would use that.

If you don't download the RogueRemover software you will continue to have these scan alert pop-ups and this is the quickest and easiest way of riding your system of it, certainly that I know of.

For your future protection, If you haven't already got this software (freeware), download, install, update and run it, periodically.
1. Ewido, a.k.a. avg anti-spyware If using winXP. or a-Squared free if using win98/ME.
2. Ad-Aware SE Personal Edition
3. Spywareblaster Don't install this until you are clean.
