Yes there are some improvements however very infortunatly there is no revision history.
The virus Cleanner is a tool created by Alwil Software(Avast) to help any users fully recover from serious infections. The virus cleanner specializes in detcting fast spreading malware and fully deleting it. As you can tell there have been different versions of this tool, however the only improvement from one version to the other is the addition of several new malware detections. One easy way to look at the virus cleanner is a portable very limited antivirus, please note that it also works on Windows Vista.

I also wish that Avast would write those revision history pages not only for this but also for the several products that are missing.
