Avast Command Line Interface
« on: March 28, 2007, 05:38:32 PM »
Hi i am curious if avast has any type of command line interface? I am a tech for TelmarIS and I am looking for any information that can help me build a module for a managed services client to collect information from avast ie. virus' found, removed, quarantined, deleted and what files have been scanned and actions taken by avast. If anyone can help me with this i would be very grateful thank you in advance

Regarding the output you are looking for - maybe the report file would be enough? ;)
And yes, the Professional Edition of avast! has a command-line scanner, called ashCmd.exe (the higher - Server Edition - as well, I guess).

Check avast! main help - there's a section ashCmd Program there.
