That explains it. HideEnhancedGui=1 effectively disables the Enhanced user interface.

Again, I have to ask if you're using the managed version of avast. If so, check the policies on the AMS.

Tech, most of the settings are really unofficial/reserved and can change in any build... I don't think there's a need to document them (at least for now).

Thanks anyway. I'll let the original avast4.ini file as it is... incomplete.

No I am no longer using the managed version, I am having runtime errors with it so I switched. The server does have the AMS installed on it but I am no longer using it. What do you mean by check the policies?
