Small problem with Avast and Vista
« on: April 15, 2007, 09:47:53 AM »
Using Vista HP. Just updated Avast to v4.7.981 and was checking settings as it was having some problems updating. When I went to check the proxy settings the screen in the attachment came up.

When i clicked on "Show me the message" the Desktop flashed and changed to a solid color(no icons) and the only thing showing is the proxy settings. After making sure they were set right and clicking OK another box came up and stated that the program was closing (or something like that, can't remember for sure) The screen flashed again and the desktop came back, but all my icons were shoved to the top.

Just thought I would let you know.

Right; but this was the case with the previous version as well, wasn't it?
