On-Access Scanner Message
« on: April 07, 2007, 03:17:56 AM »
How do I stop these from popping up every few seconds because it's starting to get VERY annoying. I had installed Avast on one of my friends computers for him and they never appeared but on my laptop they never seem to stop appearing. =/

It seems that you've changed the avast settings without knowing what you were doing...
This is an option disabled by default. You can turn it off going to the Standard Shield provider settings, Advanced tab an unchecking 'Show detailed information on action performed'. You can do this for the other providers too.

Unfortunately I can not even find where that area is. I really haven't touched many settings either all I did was set the instant messenger scanner to low.

EDIT: I found the area and I have fixed it.

The other providers have similar settings to on the Advanced tab.
