Server License needed to run DNMC?
« on: April 09, 2007, 11:46:26 PM »
I plan to install the DNMC on a Win2003 server to manage Avast Professional. Does the Win2003 machine need to have a copy of Avast Server installed if I just plan on managing from there? I'm assuming no, but just checking. I'm pretty sure I saw it mentioned someone on the site but if someone knows I'd appreciate it.

Do you mean ADNM (don't know what DNMC is ;))?
If yes, then you don't need avast! server installer (just note that you need managed clients to be installed on the workstations, not avast! Professional - equivalent products, but pure "avast! Pro" is not manageable).
