Any plans for anti-rootkit capabilities in avast! anytime soon, I wonder?

Indeed, further malware (spywares) and rootkit detection would be great...

On a clean system it doesn't find anything.

Which is good because some anti-rootkit programs produce a long list of 'hidden' items which turn out to entirely innocent.

But of course it doesn't indicate how effective it is when there is a rootkit present.

Hi! I just registered to find out about avast! and rootkits.  Found out pretty quick, huh?  Thanks.

Now if I can figure out how to add avatar, etc?  "too large or not an avatar" ???

There is a Profile button at the top of the page, click that and look for Forum Profile Information.

We try to keep the avatars at around 100x100.
