False positive on vBulletin file
« on: April 13, 2007, 09:22:41 PM »
I have run Avast Home edition at home and a trial version of Avast professional at work.  I recently upgraded at work and the first scan showed a false positive virus ("VBS: Malware") in the file db_mysql.php.  This file is a vBulletin file that links to a MySQL database.  It is not a virus.  I did not get this with the trial or home editions.  Others have reported it to vBulletin.

I don't know if this is the proper place to report this as I am new to these forums.

But the virus database was the same in both conditions?
The detection (on-access) is the same with the Home and the Pro versions.
Can you send this file to virus (at) avast.com, maybe zipping the file with a password, and mentioning the password used and a link to this thread in the email body.
Thanks.
