Problem with new avast pro
« on: April 15, 2007, 05:44:02 PM »
I've a problem with instant massaging service in realtime scanner of avast pro version 4.7.981. When i have installed that option in my system the avast startup is very slowly and I don't see Instant Massaging icon in functions of realtime scanner of avast. I uninstalled old versions of avast and install the newest but I have that problem still. U can contact with me by reply in this topic.

Which IM program do you use?
Which is your Windows?
Do you use any firewall?

I use instant massaging module from avast proffesionall edition version 4.7.981. My system is windows XP pro sp2 polish language version & I have all updates from Windows Update service. I use avast web scanner module and avast network scanner module. I haven't any other firewall's and antivirus programs. When I have had previous version of avast Instant Massaging have working correct. I've problem after update to the newest version, but I haven't any idea to solve my problem...

If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving's not for you.

Could you please try this: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=27733.msg226219#msg226219 ?
It's becoming a panacea... Isn't it the case of a new update of avast program?
