 :)  Hi George :

"Worms" ( "Wrm" ) are best dealt with by using by using antiSPYWARE/
antiTROJAN programs, such as the "trial" version of AVG Antispyware from
www.ewido.net and/or the FREE version of SUPERantispyware from
www.superantispyware.com ; do you have programs like these on your
      computer ?

Always best to provide the Name of your Operating System !?

What actions have you taken to try and resolve the problem (there are several choices when detected) ?
Safest choice is Move to Chest.

What Operating System are you using ?

What is the infected file name, where was it found e.g. (C:\windows\system32\infected-file-name.xxx) ?
Check the avast! Log Viewer (right click the avast icon), Warning section, this contains information on all avast detections.

Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.4.6112 (build 24.4.9067.762) UI 1.0.803/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security
