I had Avast on my Macbook Pro, then got a Macbook Air w/ M1 chip running 11.3.1. I transferred my data to the Macbook Air and I don't see Avast in my Applications. I tried to download and install it, but the installation program says it already exists. I searched for it and didn't find it. Is there a way to uninstall it if I can't find it? What are the best ways to get a fresh install?

I'm now also getting this issue as well. Avast isn't install in applications and isn't in /Library/Application Support either, but when trying to install fails, saying already installed.

Hello,
Please remove folder "/Library/Application Support/Avast" folder if it is present; afterwards installation should be possible.
Kind regards,
