I've been quite happy with the firewall that's available in Windows 10.
Avast will need to convince me that their somewhat basic free version is
better than the one already part of Windows 10.

I would LOVE to read Avast full feedback about this Bob, because, Microsoft is getting better with their own Window FW from v10 and higher.

You can say the same about antivirus, because you will be happy with windows defender too and you will get rid of annoying ads/popups.

Who is to know is that vulnerability hasn't been patched, this after all is an old topic.

That said isn't this 'trojan' an area that the antivirus should also be protecting against ???

Referring me to information more than a year old doesn't really answer my question.
You more than most know that one year is a lifetime when it comes to cyber protection and vulnerabilities.
I'm still waiting for a reply from Avast since I addressed this question to them.
