Not if you are using firefox or opera or any browser that doesn't use activeX. I steer clear of IE like the plague, yes if you are careful and take precautions you should be OK. Until IE is no longer an integral part of the windows OS and it has activeX and BHO's (I will continue to avoid its use) it will have consequences if the browser is exploited it has potentially exploited your OS.
