Avast Home Edition Red Pop-up Box

Hi,
I have a question about the red pop-up box that comes up if Avast On-Access Protection is stopped.  Sometimes I have to disable it for PowerPoint presentations and I don't like that red box showing up from time to time.  Is there a way to disable this?  Please advise.  And thanks for anyone's help!

Really red? It should be blank and blue.
Isn't this red popup related to update errors? Is it a panel on the right side of the screen or just a message, short and narrow at the same place?

It's an update screen.  I disable the internet and it probably has something to do with that.  Thanks.

So, just uncheck the options for the panel in the Update (Basic) > Details tab of settings.
If you want, you can set either the silent mode of updating.
