Polonus,
I'm using Firefox and have my GoogleToolbar and am protected by SiteAdvisor and finjan and avast!'s webshield
is also monitoring my internet activity.
I don't find that arrangement slow at all but do consider it safe.  :)

We all have our favorites and as long as they work for us and keep us safe, that's really what matters.

Totally agree with you here Bob,

My favourite browser is Flock (similar to FF) with all the security add-ons for FF also on Flock.
The sleipnir was just for fun and evaluation, by the way my wife likes it. But I stick with the Mozilla browser.
As long as sleipnir has no means to deny Javascript etc. on the fly, no Stealther add-on, SiteAdvisor, Netcraft toolbar, Cookie Editor, Whats my IP, DrWeb's hyperlink av-scanner extension, I will not use it as my default browser. Maybe the Japanese are not that security prone, a shame really, else this could be the alternative for IE7. Ergo conclusio - the ideal browser has not been invented yet, as there is no ideal world, we like to strife for eutopia and have to live in dystopia,

Hello forum members,

Good news, the sleipnir browser accepts the finjan secure browser extension, works beautifully in this browser. Features enable/disable Javascript, Java, ActiveX, ActiveX download on the fly. This makes sleipnir a bit more secure, my friends. Good news for Tech, sleipnir with finjan. OK,

Hi Dan,

Go here and install: http://securebrowsing.finjan.com/index.html
Other good news go here and install this as well http://www.drweb.com/online/remove-drweb-online-en.reg just click and you have the drweb hyperlink av browser plug-in for sleipnir. After install (need admin rights for this) the finjan browser extension shows in the browser down under as a green shield, right click for options.

Under Tools in the top row of your browser bar click Clear Personal Data to clear at once: flavicon Cash, IE Explorer Cookies, IE Explorer History, IE temp files, Address bar History, History of Searchbar, History of last chosen page, Internet History.

Gonna like this browser, my friend!

Hi Dan,

Explained it extensively in the PM to you. I use sleipnir mainly to make IE more secure and more flexible, so run IE under the hood there. Pageblock manager Ctr+M-A, for security like SiteAdvisor take scandoo.com as a favorite. Well I have to learn more aspects of it, and try some things out, so I will advise you later, click the cow to see the animation! Click on Find (next to Home) my friend, and you see all your tabs under the address bar, no sweat. Discover the functions one by one!

I have finjan installed for IE but, it doesn't show up in sleipnir.
Any hints ?

Hi drhayden1,

When I am home gonna try some more things in sleipnir. Good you got it working all right. Now I got sleipnir there are things I am surely missing using Flock, you do not see them: e-mail notification for webmail, webmail animated smileys. I think a lot of websites are still coded and designed with IE7 in mind. So if sleipnir can be made secure, it is showing me a few things flock or firefox cannot. Please click the cow to see it shake her head...

Hi malware fighters and users of secured browsers,

Just found out that the sleipnir browser eats Proxomitron scripts (look in the scripts folder of the browsers),
This opens up possibilities. Sleipnir is a Japanese browser 公式ページの跡地です。, and Proxomitron is also Japanese:
http://www.sankey.ws/proxomitron.html Nice to hear about this good tool again.
