Excuse me in advance if there are any mistakes. I speak english badly and sometimes  use a translator from russian.

The latest versions of avast (including the latest one) check much longer or do something, that everything is loaded noticeably longer than before + especially in YouTube it is clearly visible how the page is already loading for a long time, it happens like micro-hangs and a long response (a couple of seconds) ... At the same time, I have a good and fast internet and powerful hardware. The system is new, recently reinstalled. while the previous versions (for example, at the beginning of 2021) worked well and nothing like that happened.

I use the free version and everything has always been good before. At the same time, the processor, memory, disks are not loaded during loading and micro-freezes, i.e. in "performance" everything is fine, the feeling that it is checking pages in real time has become much longer, maybe some new algorithms have been added or what is it?))) it seems that the program has been artificially slowed down

the page freezes and loads in 10-15 seconds

For example, right now I deleted the new version of avast  and installed an old version  avast_free_antivirus 20.10.5824.0 (program version on December 9, 2020) And everything works well and loads quickly on the old version

True, an even older version (around mid-2020) worked even better

You could try the following,

Repair & Clean Install of Avast -> https://goo.gl/t7aJGq
Repair Avast:
Open the Avast User Interface > Menu > Settings > Troubleshooting > Repair App. > Restart the Computer or,
Control Panel> Program and Features (Add/remove program)>Select Avast> Select Repair. Reboot when completed
https://www.avast.com/faq.php?article=AVKB204

If Repair doesn't fix the problem, try the following:
If your Avast settings are not the default settings and you want them restored after the Clean Install, follow this before removing Avast.
https://goo.gl/TXjM7h
Clean Install of Avast:
https://goo.gl/4Ptzkf
If you need additional help with the Clean Install, watch this:
https://youtu.be/p-h3myRD51A
Since you've already installed an older version, concentrate on using the removal tool for both versions.
The current older version and the newer one that was 'removed'.

Hello, thank you very much for responding.
The fact is that I already used the removal tool and tried to restore, installed it on a clean one. I even reinstalled windows on a clean partition C. None of this helped, the new versions of Avast persistently continue to slow down the system, the old ones work well (also a clean installation), although some of the old ones give a bug (UI failed)

Avast program updates, which have been released since 2021, began to noticeably slow down the Internet and the response of browsers (I tried different browsers, everywhere the same result)

I even tried to put AVG on a clean one, there is one kernel, as I understand it .. Also, the new versions themselves noticeably slow down the system. I am using windows 7 64bit with 2021 updates.

Before that, older windows 7 was installed. Therefore, it seems to me that the matter is precisely in the new updates of the Avast program.
I read Russian resources and forums, there many complain about this that it became noticeably slower to work. I love Avast and would not like to switch to another program = (

All versions of Avast work much slower, starting from 2021. (I always installed it on a clean one and from the official Avast website). I even thought that this system was slowing down and reinstalled windows on a clean C partition. But the problem of new versions remained. Now I installed the old version (I always use the Avast removal utility and install it on a clean one) 20.10.2442\build 20.10.5824.640 release date 9 December 2020. This version is already working fine (although before that it was even better, approximately in mid-2020)

OS Name   Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate
OS Kernel Type   Multiprocessor Free (64-bit)
OS Version   6.1.7601.24565 (Win7 RTM)
OS Service Pack   Service Pack 1
OS Installation Date   04.06.2021
OS Root   C:\Windows
- No, nothing but avast is installed in the system. I didn't install any firewalls either. (if I temporarily stop the avast, then everything immediately loaded well. - this is with regards to new versions)
-
I have been using only Avast antivirus for a couple of years now, I have not installed any others. The problem appears even with a clean installation on a clean system. those. the problem is in the latest versions of Avast

Hi, if you're willing to help, see: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=237567.0

I am ready to do as it is written in this manual. Am I correct, understood that for this it is better to reinstall the new version of Avast, which slowed down browsers?
And yet, is there a more detailed instruction specifically for windows 7? there is very little written about windows 7, at the end of the instructions.

Maybe because Support for Windows 7 ended on January 14, 2020.

A huge number of people still use windows 7, and this was not a complaint on my part, but a request for a more detailed description, if possible. There are also many avast users who use windows 7. hardly the reason for Avast's brakes is the end of support from Microsoft. If I'm just wasting my time right now and no one will deal with this, then it's better to tell me straight out so that I don't waste my and your time, thank you.

You asked for a reason, I simply offered one.
I'm well aware of the fact that there are still millions of Windows 7 users.
Solving a problem is never a waste of time but be aware that using an older OS
may be one of the reasons for some of your problems.

I have excatly same problem, but my OS is WIN 8.1 pro 64bit.  ??? ???

It seems Avast has limited support of Windows versions below 10 (yes, I know that more modern OS (win 10) is more secure, but this computer has too many configurations and old hardware to update). Too sad, this and the previous bug of memory error on update has ended my 10+ years usage of Avast antivirus :(

Avast support Windows 7 and up but you also need to realize that older OS have limitations.
As new technology is released, the operating system needs to be kept up-to-date.

Limitations of the older OS's are precisely why new versions are released.

Hi, if you're willing to help, see: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=237567.0

I tried to do everything as in the instructions, here is the result in the screenshot, an error, as I understand it.
Screenshot:   https://i.yapx.ru/M0KQn.png

Please tell me how to do this check correctly so that it can be sent to you. Please write a small instruction, especially for windows 7, and send it here to the forum, if it does not bother you. I am confused and cannot figure it out myself.
