Help with email-configuration
« on: February 20, 2004, 03:35:58 AM »
In a publication here in Sweden that I subscribe to, it was said that there was a new version (that supported Mozila Thunderbird) which had just come out.
1st: where is the new version? (Haven't gotten any update-notes from Avast)
2nd: is this a new module? I thought I had protection already trough the generic mail-module.
3rd: Will this new protection be easy to set up?

The question you asked should have been resolved as of version 4.1.335 as listed in the information above. No there isn't a new module. This should be handled through the internet mail module using the mail wizard. If you need any further help please don't hesistate to ask.

Thanks for the help.

one month since the update, and NOW the magazine tells us. (They have a weekly newsletter, and it was there they had the news, only 3-4 issues too late.....

ok, so I had already downloaded the update, and I didn't have to configure anything.
that's a relief. :-)
