Registration Key
« on: June 16, 2009, 09:48:10 PM »
Hi all,
I just recently re-installed Windows and I had back-ups of most of my hard drive, so I copied it from my storage location back onto my hard drive and I tried to open up my Avast! and it told me I had to register so I requested my key to be sent to my email, but when I entered it in the box, I was told it was and invalid key.

What should I do?

Thanks for your help

See the tutorial:  http://www.avast.com/files/tutorials/insert_key.htm
Check you system time and date also.
This is an antipiracy feature of avast that recognizes a clone drive restored.

Make sure that you don't have any extra spaces at the end of your license key when you using copy'n'paste

Please, post the last 300-350 lines of avast log: C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\DATA\log\Setup.log
