Hi, if you're willing to help, see: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=237567.0

I tried to do everything as in the instructions, here is the result in the screenshot, an error, as I understand it.

Many won't visit unknown 3rd party sites to view unknown content.

You can attach your image in the post using the Attachments and other options, click to expand

Ok, I understand you, I am attaching the picture as a file.

Now can you help me and explain how to do it correctly for windows 7? I downloaded everything as written in the instructions and tried to run it, the result is in the screenshot.

I don't know if you are running the cmd.exe as the instructions mentioned ?

- launch the elevated command line (cmd.exe as Administrator)

This certainly isn't an area that I have used for many years, my post was to enable you to post your image within the topic.
What I don't know is if this process is supported in Windows 7.

That said, looking at the information in the link given by Asyn, there is also a note section at the bottom related Windows 7.

note: if you are running older OS (e.g. Windows 7) you can install the older version of Windows Performance Toolkit (http://public.avast.com/~nix/users/xperf/xperf_x86.msi for 32-bit OS, or http://public.avast.com/~nix/users/xperf/xperf_x64.msi for 64-bit OS) and use different start ("xperf.exe -on DiagEasy+DISPATCHER+Profile -stackwalk profile+CSwitch+ReadyThread -start avast -f \avast.etl -on 1492D477-3272-5C0C-D91A-C156CC3CD206") and stop (xperf.exe -stop -stop avast -d avast-log.etl) commands in the procedure above.

Is it possible that you are using the wrong utility not the one for win7 ?

I downloaded the correct utility, the one in the note for my win7 x64 http://public.avast.com/~nix/users/xperf/xperf_x64.msi --here is this link

the image shows that I run cmd as administrator
I 100% did everything as in the note for win7 and the result in the previous screenshot.
maybe something else can be used for checking to understand why the antivirus is buggy? maybe there is some kind of avast utility for checks with instructions? I don't care how you do it, I already have a feeling that no one just wants to do this and no one can suggest anything here ...
all the answers are not quite to the point, although I speak clearly and reasonably

Obviously I can't read the text of the images, hence my seeking confirmation on points to ensure you have taken the correct action.
Outside of that I'm unable to help, as I mentioned it isn't an area that I have used for many years.   I also don't have a win7 system that I could test this on to see if I get the same error/s.

I think you will have to wait for some input from an Avast Team member (I will try to attract some attention to your topic), as those who have responded to try help/point you in the right direction have been long time avast users and helpers on the forums.

To me, it looks like each command should be run separately. The error also seems to indicate that.

There is no need to understand the text, there is a standard UAC icon on the image, this is the standard place to run as administrator =)

Okay, thank you very much. I would be very grateful if you can draw the attention of someone to this post who can help or at least figure out what is the reason for the freezes.
I saw that in another topic, with a similar problem, it was advised to use the Avast Support Tool to diagnose... this means that there are probably different ways to solve my problem.  I just don’t want to change the antivirus .. and with such freezes, there is no point in switching to a paid one, what if it will be the same? I will only have to look for another antivirus if no one can help me figure it out.

I read a lot of Ukrainian and Russian-language forums .. very many have the same problems with new versions as I do. It's just that no one dares to create a topic in an English environment)       That's why it's not only my problem.
I use windows 7 exactly because of a lot of musical equipment, which works better on version 7, I can not upgrade to 10

Hi doskraft,

thank you for reporting. It seems to me (from those screenshots) that you have added some spaces into those xperf commands. Other than that you should be doing fine and it should work on Windows 7.

The proper way is to run the start command:
xperf.exe -on DiagEasy+DISPATCHER+Profile -stackwalk profile+CSwitch+ReadyThread -start avast -f \avast.etl -on 1492D477-3272-5C0C-D91A-C156CC3CD206

then reproduce the issue and then run the stop command:
xperf.exe -stop -stop avast -d avast-log.etl

Than please ZIP the avast-log.etl and upload it to our FTP server:
https://support.avast.com/en-eu/article/160/

or share it via some public drive.
