Can avast remove and clean a pc with win32.trojan.rx?

I have to go work on someone's pc this afternoon which is infected by win32.trojan.rx.  Will avast be able to clean this?  It is a fairly new trojan I believe.  Thanks.

Since that is not the name Alwil is giving. It is hard to say, give it a try and see.
