[Solved] Problem updating mirror
« on: May 22, 2007, 10:34:27 AM »
Hi,

I've got an ADNM installed for 1 year now, and I've that problem :

10:21:19 min/gen  scr: mirroring 'av_net'.
10:21:19 min/gen  scr: downloading of file 'av_pro_hlp408-ad-a9.vpu' failed.
10:21:19 min/gen  Err:The package is broken.
10:21:19 min/gen  Return code: 0x20000011 [The package is broken.]

This is not the first time this happens, the last time I reinstalled the ADNM (not same customer), but I don't want to do this, the site is 200km away...

I tried to delete the content of the mirror\mirror folder, but the mirroring failed with the above error.

Do you use proxy server for connection to internet?

You can try to download failed file manually from here:

http://files.avast.com/iavs4x/av_pro_hlp408-ad-a9.vpu

and copy that file to mirror\mirror folder, then run mirror again (either run mirror task from ADNM console, or restart avast! Management Server service)

yes we use a transparent proxy for filtering and i can't download the file (blocked by proxy).

I'm trying to find an other solution to download the file, but I think the whole av_pro_hlp408* files are corrupted (having this bug 3 times already...).

Ok I tried with wget for windows, it worked, but I get the same error again.

EDIT : In fact, the file contains HTML code from the proxy server (acces denied). I'm trying to clear the cache of the proxy and/or disable it just for the update.

EDIT 2 : I copied all av_pro_hlp408* files by hand and disabled the proxy. The update doesn't work. I re-enable the proxy and the mirroring re-worked... wait...

17:20:28 min/gen  scr: mirroring 'av_net'.
17:22:46 min/gen  scr: downloading of file 'av_srv_dll405-ad-a3.vpu' failed.
17:22:46 min/gen  Err:The package is broken.
17:22:46 min/gen  Return code: 0x20000011 [The package is broken.]

Damn !! T_T

OK, I don't know why the mirroring wouldn't work, with or without the proxy, but I copied the buggy files by hand from an other ADNM and the server finished the mirroring.
It happens 3 times, I reinstalled the ADNM twice and the third one, I just copied the corrupted files.

Does anyone had the same problem ?
