Server Version 4.7.652.0?
« on: May 17, 2007, 09:29:32 AM »
I just got my SBS Server and netclients setup using ADNM. All are receiving updates and I set a program update schedule which also worked for the clients.

However, my server shows version 4.7.652.0 in the adnm console, but the avast website does not list this as a version (past or present)!
Is it particular to a SBS setup?

Any ideas anyone?

TIA

The latest version of (managed) NetClient/NetServer version is 4.7.700. This has been released just yesterday.
(as a rule of thumb, NetClient/NetServer is always of the same version because it shares the core components)

Hi vlk

Thanks for that. I've just checked the server and it is waiting to be rebooted from an Avast prompt so I guess the version will update after reboot.

Do program updates go to the client and server even if the unit is logged off but powered on?

Cheers

Absolutely. This also applies to all client-side processing (on-demand scanning tasks etc).

Thanks

Thanks for that.

I've posted some feedback in the ADNM forum about problems deploying when pro version altready exists on clients you may be interested in.
