HTML:URL-inf[susp]
« on: June 23, 2021, 03:56:08 PM »
Each morning Avast has identified a problem about "Part No_0#3596842959" (or another number like that there is also a reference which I've quoted in the subject.  Each morning it tells me that it has quarantined this problem.

Why have I received this message several times?

A screenshot of the Avast alert window might help, expand the more information/details section.

Attach it to your next post, see my attached image on what to do.

I am having the same problem as trevor34smith. The issue only occurs when I open an email app to read my inbox. It is isolated to only one computer as I can read the inbox on another computer with no issues.

I have had this happen 5 times now. the first 2 times I didnt think anything of it. The next 3 times occurred when I requested a password reset from a legit site. I happened to have my email open waiting for the password reset and as soon as it arrived the pop-up about a threat stopped (same as the screenshot from pacard) came up and it blocked the link for me to reset my password. This definitely needs to be escalated to dev attention!!

I'm having the same problem.  It has displayed other subject messages too but all refer to emails or phishing malware.  This has been happening daily for the past week.  I have used the "send for analysis" option and am awaiting a reply.  I have also noticed that I have not received emails from a regular correspondent recently either and am wondering if it is related.  Does the "Email Shield" quarantine the infected incoming email?  I'd like to be able to warn the sender if the information is available.

And, I, too, am having the exact same problem.  Issue started only a few days ago as I get the same alert ("We've blocked the threat HTML:Url-inf[Susp] from harming your computer.") each time I turn on my computer and open up my Firefox browser (vers. 89.0.2 (64-bit)) which is set to open up with the first tab being my normal Yahoo! email account.  The screenshot is pretty much the same as shown above (pacard's entry: Reply #2 on: June 23, 2021, 07:44:37 PM).

I also have the same problem, but it is always when an e-mail is forwarded to me. If the same e-mail comes directly from the source, it does not have a virus. Any suggestions?

yes, it is the same person forwarding the e-mail.
Then i suspect something happen in his computer when he forward the mail

-Dose it only happen with mail he forward or also with mail he create and send to you?
-Does he have some kind of signature in his mail, if so does it contain a link?
