suspicious email
« on: June 05, 2007, 08:10:51 PM »
Avast has notified me of a suspicious email.  The sender is known to me, but I don't know how to open the email.  It just tells me the sender and recipient and says suspicious subject of message.  How can I get to my message? There is no option to open or get to my email.  Also how can I stop this happening because it's causing me problems to not get emails immediately.

Thanks

H

Is there not an option to Continue ?
I think that allows it to be delivered, what option did you choose, Delete, Continue or Block It ?

In the suspect email alert, avast should say what is suspicious, what was the reason given ?
See image, example relates to suspicious whitespace sequence.

The Heuristics is what controls the suspicious email alerts and they can be customised.

What is your email client ?
