Because it will serve cost reductions and the ability to create a more seamless data flow,
so outstanding for total surveillance purposes.

I trust Microsoft as far as I can throw them, which is zero mm.  I'm still on Windows 10 and will be for as long as possible, the thing that may make me move would be the need for a new system.  Then if MS is cloud based, is it time to be looking elsewhere.

What are we paying a license fee for  ?
Is this a ploy to get people onto Windows 12 or will that too be in the cloud  ?
How the hell would people go about system and data backups with MS in the mix  ?

If this comes to pass they should be paying us for our data.  There are lots of areas I won't/try not to let Microsoft Install, sometimes there is no opt out.  This would be even worse if they are in control of installation on their servers.

The problem being you have no control over what is in the cloud and you can kiss goodbye to offline system backup and restoration.
