Bob your URL link takes you to blogger.com, I have modified the quoted link.
Thanks I've corrected the link.

No problem.

I have now run that little checker and I find that the WhyNotWin11 (WindowsPCHealthCheckSetup.msi) tool posted by Asyn in Reply #22 is a more detailed listing of the system specs and if it is compatible/OK for win11 (see image in my Reply #23).

We may want to skip installing 11 like most of us did for Vista and 8.

For me it's already running without problems on one system.
I also had no problems with either Vista or Windows 8.
Neither Vista or Win 8 lasted very long before they got replaced.

Didn't say its going to be problematic, just saying it may not be that good. Time will tell.
Many had no problems with Vista or 8, but they were universally condemned as garbage for the most part.
They got replaced because they were inferior.

Interpretation.
"It may be" is similar to "assuming". Neither in my book make much sense.
Not being popular doesn't make a product garbage.

How to bypass the Windows 11 TPM 2.0 requirement
https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/microsoft/how-to-bypass-the-windows-11-tpm-20-requirement/

This pretty much confirms some videos and checks I have made that M 'bloody S' have made arbitrary decisions not based on the system such as unless you have an intel cpu of version 8 you're stuffed (forcing you to make such hacks).  Many intel chips pre version 8 (such as my i5 7200u) had TMP integrated into the chip.  So the M 'bloody' S check isn't checking at all but following an arbitrary list.

I all honesty, forcing it to be recognised is just bloody hassle I can do without, just to get win11.

Considering my win10 laptop is 4 years old and will continue to get win10 updates for some time, I will avoid the hassle and wait until I replace this system.

That's the  strategy I decided on, as soon as I realized W11 was not mainline OS upgrade requiring elements not existent on my very up to date lap top.
Unless MS revamps the W11 requirements I'm happy with my W10 version :)
