To be hones I am not that enthusiastic about Windows 11. Looks to me that we will see a lot of updates untill we get a stable windows 11. But this is just my opinion.
As a MS insider, I can tell you it's been fairly steady for quite a while.
Using Windows 11 is a choice not a requirement. Windows 10 will still be supported through most of 2025.
It's your choice. The information in here is provided for the benefit of anyone interested in Windows 11.

Simple then, don't upgrade to windows 11, windows 10 is supported until 2025.

But isn't that what you have been saying many times before about updating programs, if you don't want to, then wait and see how it goes.

@bob3160  After I got used to using Win 10 I liked it.

@DavidR  From what I've read about Win 11 it's going to be a lot different than Win 10. Maybe after Microsoft releases it and I read about any forum member's who installs it and likes it then I might want it.  I'm sure I'll have quite awhile to decide whether or not I want it.  I would rather wait until I can buy a new computer that is Windows 11.

Do you have more than one computer? If so, it might be a good idea
to install windows 11 on one computer and leave the other one with windows 10.
That way, if you run into a problem on Windows 11, you can always search for an answer on the Windows 10 computer.
You'll also find a lot of help in this thread and a link to many tutorials.

You can also ask questions of someone who's been using Windows 11 exclusively
since June. :)

Life and especially computing is all about change, my first computer if you can call it that was an Amstrad PCW (Personal Computer Word processor) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amstrad_PCW. This was basically that a word processor, with two disks (not Hard Disks) on containing the program and the other to store files.  I still remember the co called colour screen black with Green text.

My first Windows system was Windows 3.1 and 3.11 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_3.1x
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Microsoft_Windows_versions

My first modern computer would have had Windows 95 to win98, win98 2nd edition, WinXP, Win 7, Windows 10,  so I frequently skipped versions, not because of fear of change but I didn't feel that there was anything there that I felt I needed.

Windows 11 is released: What you need to know and new features
https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/microsoft/windows-11-is-released-what-you-need-to-know-and-new-features/

Interesting that they have released win11, when they have failed to release 21h2 for win10 or are they hoping people will jump to win11 and not have to push 21h2 for win10.
