SMTP 2000/2003 Provider and html e-mail
« on: May 30, 2007, 01:41:40 PM »
OS: Win SBS 2003 With Exchange Server running
E-mail client: Outlook 2003
avast! SBS Edition

Has anyone come across the following problem ?
When the SMTP resident provider is running all incoming html e-mails are delivered as attachments. (even when the html message is located in the body of the e-mail)
When the SMTP resident provider has been stopped, incoming html e-mails are delivered normally. ie: When the html message is located in the body of the e-mail it is delivered as such, not as an attachment.

Any suggestion about the cause of this behavior would be welcome :-\

Is there an update on this issue? One year later I have the same problem? Scanned most of these fora but couldn't find anything...
