Red Exclamation Point
« on: July 01, 2021, 06:18:18 PM »
After running a full virus scan on my laptop using program version 21.5.2470 (build 21.5.6354.679) when I go and check scan history I find the scan with a  red exclamation point and a circle with a "i" inside at the far right .  when I mouse over the circle it says "Full Virus Scan was not complete". what does this mean did the scan complete or not.  It said no malware but then says scan was not complete. did the scan complete with out error or not??

It indicates a problem occurred during a scan (usually unable to scan a file/s) that wasn't related to or being a malware detection, as you can see in your image you had 0 infected files.

I can only assume (dangerous I know) that because a file or files couldn't be scanned, then technically the scan didn't complete.

I have some in my old scans.
