a history of Apple in pictures. It's all there. Jobs, The Woz, The Apple I, The Lisa -- the predecessor to the original Macintosh -- and a ton of candid shots that really give the Cupertino kids some personality, no matter how minimalist and mock-turtleneck they may be these days. http://www.bloggpix.no/my_weblog/Bildespill/apple/index.html

Am I Dumb? http://www.am-i-dumb.com/
Common sense is hard to come by these days. We've created a short list of questions to test your common sense when dealing with average everyday situations. Take the test and we'll tell you how you compare to the rest of the world. Looking up the answers is kind of cheating...
I took the test and got 20 out of 25 correct.
My results:

How Pi is Calculated
Pi Unrolled

A number line is marked off by a circle of unit diameter. Starting from zero, the circle “unrolls” its circumference. At one full turn, the unrolled circumference has extended to the point we call π. This number is real but irrational, transcendental, and cannot be constructed with compass and straightedge.

Hey, Can I Have Ten Dollars?
Hey, Can I Have Ten Dollars is a site that shows panhandling on the internet is still possible. You are asked to donate ten dollars. You can click either a 'yes' or 'no' button. Clicking on the 'no' button takes you to a page where you are then asked for five dollars. All in all it's kind of funny.
I did a Whois search and found out that the registrant is 27-year old Kelly Lewis from Farmers Branch, Texas. A further investigation showed that she is also known as DJ Kelle Marie, playing at the Zúbar, a Dallas danceclub.
Whether this is going to work for Kelly, I don't know. Currently the total amount of money she has gathered is $85

Since she dj's at a Dallas dance club, I don't think she needs my $10.    ::)

A virtual global journey of modern man over the last 160,000 years. The map will show for the first time the interaction of migration and climate over this period.
Based on a synthesis of the mtDNA and Y chromosome evidence with archeology, climatology and fossil study, Journey of Mankind tracks the routes and timing of migration, placing it in context with ancient rock art around the world.

Hi Dan,

My lucky number is 8, so I have to wait until 08-08-08, what's another year?
You see this from the positive side, but for the pessimistic of heart, seven is a hatch number, so the meaning then reads "hatch hatch hatch".

At the course where I play golf, there is a rabbit that has been hanging around the green of hole #7 for a couple of years. It always hops away slowly as we approach the green.
